What does it do?The Information and Advice service provides a free, confidential and impartial service.

Accurate and comprehensive information is provided free about issues which affect later life. These include housing, welfare benefits, residential and nursing care, energy efficiency, health and community care and a wide range of other issues.

There is also a welfare benefits specialist, offering independent advice to help you maximise your income.

A home visiting service is provided for people who are housebound.

As well as meeting Age Concern Wirral’s own quality standards, the service has gained the Community Legal Service Quality Mark at the “General Help with Casework” (Older People) level.
