What does it do?Age Concern Mid Mersey runs activity groups at various centres in the community. These groups provide an opportunity for people aged 55+ to enjoy fun filled sessions in a warm and friendly atmosphere - A great way to meet and make new friends.

Wednesdays

Wycliffe United Reformed Church

Edgeworth Street/Allen Street, (Off Bewsey Street), which is within easy reach of Warrington Bus Station 3 - 5 minutes walk away.

This group runs from 10.30am - 1pm. The activities held here are on a weekly basis and include an Art Group, Gentle Chair Based Exercises, Crafts, Games and an Introduction To The Computer. Of course you can simply just come and enjoy a ‘Cuppa’ and a chat.

Kath’s Café, Fearnhead Community Centre
Fearn Cross, Insall Road, Fearnhead. Meeting on a weekly basis between 2pm and 4pm. Activities include Quizzes, Cards, Dominoes, Craft and more - it varies each week.

Mondays

Penketh High School (During Term Time)
These sessions are held between 10.30am and 12.30pm every other week starting on the 14th September 2009. Activities are similar to the other groups and vary each session.

St Margaret’s Community Centre

Lindley Avenue, Latchford, Warrington. Meeting on a weekly basis between 2pm and 4pm. Activities are similar to the other groups and vary each week.
