 | What does it do?Our befriending / telephone befriending service offers support and companionship to those older people who are socially isolated and in need of companionship and friendship.
Whilst we have enabled this, the service offers more than just a volunteer visiting, not only by keeping the older people informed of services but by bringing them to them.
At present we are reviewing the service as people are telling us they want practical help at home such as help with gardening, DIY, shopping and cleaning. |
