What does it do?We aim to provide information and advice on a range of subjects including welfare benefits, housing, legal issues, community care, residential care, etc.
If we are not the most appropriate organisation to advise you on a particular subject, or if we are not able to deal with your query as quickly as we would wish, we may refer you to another agency.
Who it is for: Age UK Newcastle offer an information and advice service to older people, their friends, family and carers.
Where it is available:Local service covering: Newcastle upon Tyne (Tyne and Wear).
What it costs:The service is free and confidential. A limited home visiting service is available in certain circumstances to housebound older people.
