What does it do?Do you need help to adapt or repair your property? Unsure where to start?
Adur Council runs the Care and Repair service. It exists to help people who need repairs or adaptations to their homes and either can't afford it or are not sure how to go about it. The service accesses finance such as grant funding. It offers professional help to work out what needs doing and getting builders and surveyors. You can also get general advice and support along the way.
If you have a disability you may have seen (or need to see) an occupational therapist. We can help you to make an application for a grant or seek out alternative funding from other sources (but you will have had to have seen an occupational therapist before applying for a grant).
