 | What does it do?The branches are run by volunteers. They provide a number of beneficial services, including:
a social networksupport through sharing experiencesproviding information – through Arthritis Care publications and guest speakers ways of managing arthritis, including exercise classes and hydrotherapygenerating awareness locally about arthritis and Arthritis Carebecoming active in campaigning activitiesThere are approximately 250 branches across the UK. Anyone can join. Branch members are of all ages and backgrounds, and enjoy great support through the network.
Most branches meet monthly, although many have a
range of activities throughout the year, including days out, Christmas
lunches and social events.
