What does it do?The Home Improvement Agency supports and advises service users on repairs, home improvements and adaptations to their homes. The aim of the service is to enable clients to remain living independently in comfort, security and with dignity by offering a wide range of housing support and advice. The service provided is tailored to meet the needs of individuals and clients are signposted to other relevant services where agreed.

Older People – Disabled or Vulnerable People and Families on Low Incomes.

The service is available to all ethnicities.

Local service covering: North Warwickshire, Nuneaton & Bedworth (Warwickshire).

What it costs:

Advice is free of charge. Fees are not charged for private works and are included in any grant award. Clients will not be expected to pay fees themselves.

How to access or apply for it:

Self referrals by telephone, letter or electronic enquiries including e.mails, web-site etc.

What to expect then:

The agency aims to contact within 2 days of enquiry and to visit clients within their own homes within 5 working days.
