What does it do?
A new Carers Service is currently being locally developed, which will provide peace of mind to family Carers when a crisis or emergency
occurs. The Emergency Response Carers Service will provide a package of personal and practical support in your home to replace what you provide as a Carer.
The free replacement support will be provided up to 48 hours during the week or 72 hours over a weekend or Bank Holiday. If the emergency
cannot be resolved and you are unable to undertake your caring role, alternative arrangements will be discussed with those persons who are
affected by the emergency.
