What does it do?A volunteer will befriend an older person who is isolated and offer friendship, perhaps help with small tasks such as shopping, collect prescriptions or escort to local shops. This service also offers a telephone befriender if an individual does not want contact in their own home.

To support all elderly people aged 50 years plus across the Walsall borough by providing relevant services, information and advice, and advocacy.
