What does it do?Looking after your feet as you get older is very important to your general health and well being. It helps you:
  • Get out and about
  • Avoid Falls
  • Stay Mobile
As you get older you may find it difficult if not impossible to cut your own nails. Nails become toughened with age, poor eyesight makes it difficult to see or you may have problems bending down to your feet.

This is not a medical service but a common sense approach to basic foot care.
  • Regular nail cutting appointment close to your home
  • Basic Advice on foot care
  • Checks on suitable footwear
  • Referral for help with foot care problemsReferral to our PIPP service (Promoting Independence Prevention Program) for information and advice on independent living aids, falls prevention and balance and confidence groups.
