 | What does it do?Age UK West Cumbria provides advice and practical assistance to improve your safety in and around your home, to help you live independently.
Our Handy person service offers:
- Advice and information on how to improve safety and security in and around your home
- Installation of high quality keysafes.
- Small repairs in and around your home, e.g. Leaking taps, replace light bulbsFitting of small adaptations such as hand or grab rails
- Installation of security equipment such as locks for doors and windows, bolts, security chains etc
- Clearing and repairing garden pathways and/or gates.
In addition to this service our Accident Prevention and Home Safety Team can offer some support with small electrical jobs such as the installation of security lights. |
