Age Concern - Cornwall and the Isles of ScillyTransport Access People - TAP

What does it do?Transport is often a major problem for older people, particularly in such a rural area. With a fleet of accessible mini-buses and over 100 volunteer car drivers we help older people on low incomes to get around.

We can help you with your journey plans if you:
  • have a hospital or doctor's appointment
  • need to go shopping
  • have to visit the dentist
  • would like to go to the theatre
  • would like to visit friends
We lso operate 10 fully accessible 14 seat minibuses. Manual and electric wheelchairs can be loaded via the tail lift to ensure that people with disabilities are not excluded. All our drivers undertake the fully accredited MIDAS training programme.
