 | What does it do?Day Care is one of Age Concern Dudley`s core services operating from Dudley Day Centre, Stafford Street, Dudley.
The service is a hub of activity which has been achieved through consultation with service users, staff and volunteers. Staff and
volunteers working at all levels are encouraged to work as part of a team to ensure we deliver a professional, supportive and friendly
service where older people can feel comfortable in an relaxing and stimulating environment.
A team of staff and volunteers and partnership working with local colleges is enabling us to meet our aim of delivering a varied activity
programme. Some of the current activities on offer are:
Extend (gentle exercise)
Craft and art sessions
Variety of social activities including quizzes, bingo, board games. |
Who it is for: OLder people living in Dudley | Where it is available: Local service covering: Dudley (West Midlands). | What it costs: There is no membership required, just give us a call or pop into the centre and have a talk with one of our staff who will be able to give
you more information. Anyone wanting to join us for lunch, can ring the centre in advance to find out the days menu. Meals include soup of the day, choice of hot or cold main meal and dessert, these can be purchased individually or at £3.50 for the complete package.
