 | What does it do?In conjunction with Cheshire County Council, Age Concern Cheshire is responsible for the promotion and provision of Direct Payments advice and support for people across the County who are 65 years and over.
A Direct Payment is money which puts you in control of your own lifestyle. It does this by giving you the finances to enable you to employ the people or services you choose, to provide the assistance that you have been assessed as needing.
If you choose to have Direct Payments you must use the money to pay for the care you need as agreed in your care package with your social worker.
You can use a Direct Payment to get the right service for you, giving you more choice and control in your life.
Are you unhappy with the social services you use?
Would you like to be more independent?
Do you want to be more in control of who supports you?
If you answer YES to any of these questions then Direct Payments could be the option for you. |
