Advice Services

benefit entitlement, DLA and PIP applications, Universal Credit

What does it do?

Our trained volunteers cover a number of topics such as benefit entitlement, DLA and PIP applications, Universal Credit, employment rights, consumer rights and many more through our drop in sessions or scheduled appointments. We also have specialist caseworkers who help clients with debt problems on a longer term basis. Since 2010 we have been authorised by the Vale of White Horse District Council to verify original documents required for council tax or housing benefit applications.

Wantage Independent Advice Centre is licensed for debt counselling by the Financial Conduct Authority. At busy times we may operate a waiting list for new debt clients.
