What does it do?We want to assist you to live as independent and fulfilled a life as you are physically able to.
To do this, we provide a wide range of flexible services ranging from assisting you on trips out to high-level personal care needs. - We can provide domestic support with cleaning, ironing, laundry, meal preparation and general household tasks.
- We can offer assistance with all aspects of personal care, including assistance with getting up and going to bed, washing and dressing, personal hygiene, medication prompts and administration of prescribed medications.
- We can stay overnight to support service users who may need additional assistance, for example following a hospital discharge, and can assist with rehabilitation following illness or accident for example to increase mobility, life skills and independence.
- There may be times when you need a little extra reassurance, perhaps when family members or friends are away on holiday. We can arrange to pop in and visit you to make sure you are safe or for example to remind you take medication! We can also telephone you to check you are ok or give you reminders.
- We can accompany you on shopping trips or if you prefer do your shopping for you.
- We can provide vital respite to allow family carers a break, or simply sit, chat and reminisce with someone who is lonely or housebound.
- We can arrange to transport and accompany you on trips out, visiting friends and relatives or perhaps to participate in services that you could not otherwise access. We can take you to hospital or doctors appointments or in fact almost anywhere you want to go including holidays.
