What does it do?The range of services that can be provided will vary from individual to individual, but could include help with getting up and preparing for bed, assistance with preparing meals, help to wash and dress, help to use the toilet as well as other aspects of personal care.

The service is for people who need assistance with aspects of their personal care or daily living skills to enable them to live at home, whether through sight or hearing loss, physical or learning disabilities, frailty or illness.

The cost of receiving domiciliary care following an assessment of need is subject to the council's charging policy.
