Home Improvement Agency Service

This service has been established for over 25 years and is aimed at older home owners (aged 50 and over), or private sector tenants who are responsible for their own repairs, particularly those who may have a disability or be on a low income.

We provide advice on how to repair, improve, maintain or adapt homes to make them more safe, sound, warm and secure. We also provide advice on accessing any funding which may be available to do it, together with identifying appropriate contractors capable of doing the work.

Older home owners (aged 50 and over), or private sector tenants who are responsible for their own repairs.

Local service covering: Liverpool (Merseyside).

How to access or apply for it:

Referrals can be made either direct to the service, or via voluntary or statutory workers in the community (e.g. Citizens Advice Bureaux, Occupational Therapists, etc).

Telephone advice Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, but clients are visited in their own homes to assess work required.
