What does it do?

We have over 40+ Service Providers covering a wide range of service areas. All our service providers are local businesses, are fully qualified/experienced in the trade they provide and before being accepted onto our list of approved providers have all undergone our comprehensive quality assurance checks. We also provide a free information and signposting service. Staff on our Helpdesk have a wealth of knowledge of other services available in Blackburn with Darwen so even if we don’t provide the service ourselves we usually know who does and will happily signpost you on to the appropriate service.

What to expect then:

Upon contact one of our advisers will chat to you about the service you require and also any broader issues that may be giving you concern.
 
If needed, we can arrange for one of our advisers to visit you in your own home to discuss your needs further.

Having clarified what you need, our adviser will refer you to the chosen service, such as cleaning, gardening, assisted shopping, home maintenance, decorating or a luncheon club.

The Helpdesk will contact the service provider who will then contact you within 5 working days to let you know they have received the referral and to discuss the details of the job.

All Care Network service providers will provide you with a free, written, no obligation quote.

Once you have received the quote, it is down to the customer to decide whether or not to go ahead with the job.
