Services for the Blind in Hastings and Rother

What does it do?

HRVAB has a Resource Centre, where members can test out the many aids and equipment available to help visually impaired people. Items include talking clocks and watches, adapted games such as Dominoes, Scrabble, Monopoly and playing cards, various kitchen equipment, daily living aids, large button telephones and brailing equipment. Also available is a 20/20 Low Vision Reading System which enlarges the written word making any document easier to read.

We have a wide selection of taped literature and large print books in our own in-house library, available to loan to our members.
