What does it do?

We have a number of luncheon clubs available throughout the Wakefield District that older people can go to.  
  
Luncheon Clubs offers you the chance to get out of your home, have a meal and meet with friends and neighbours from where you live.

What it costs:

This service is not free. There is a charge for the meal.

What to expect then:

Before you can go to a luncheon club you need to have been assessed by Family Services as needing this service. Not everyone is able to attend, you can find out more about this by clicking on the Assessments & Eligibility Link under 'Related Links'.  
If you are also assessed as needing help with transport to and from the club we may also be able to help.
