Additional information:

We will collect reusable donations of furniture and electrical appliances totally free of charge. We collect from inside your home so you don't have to move the items & they stay in good condition - furniture and electricals get damaged if left outside.
We arrange a mutually convenient time-slot when our volunteers will call (usually Morning from 10.00 - 12.30 or Afternoon from 2.00-4.30). We cover most of our collection area every week but spaces can get booked up so do please book ahead if you can.
When they visit our team will check the items to make sure we can reuse them. We can usually take away reusable items there and then.
There are some things we cannot use due to health and safety legislation: for example, beds and sofas must have fire regulation labels (examples of the labels).
Naturally, all items must be in a good reusable condition and good working order.
Simply call your nearest store to book a collection.

Our aim is to provide a hassle-free, comprehensive clearance service that is sociably and environmentally responsible.
Our staff and trainees will clear every item in the property for you, and will leave selected items as requested.
Any reusable furniture and electrical appliances will help low income households through our stores. We recycle as much as we can, disposing of any remaining goods responsibly.
The house clearance service helps low income households in Hastings and Rother, and raises funds for HFS, while also providing great work experience for our trainees.

HFS will visit the property in order to assess the task and provide you with a free quotation for the work.
Every penny raised from this service goes towards the running costs of our charity.
