What does it do?The Traders Register has been set up to assist older, vulnerable people to find reputable tradespeople to undertake work for them in their own homes. Traders on the register will be known locally, will have provided Age Concern with references, will work to our Code of Practice and will guarantee their work.
This scheme has been established to ensure older people have some protection from 'cowboys'. Instead of trawling through advertisements or falling prey to opportunitists who call on the off chance, you can now ring the Traders Register at Age Concern and ask for our traders to contact you for a job you need doing.
