What does it do?

Age UK Brighton & Hove offers a free and confidential information and advice service for older people, their families and carers.

Topics we cover:
Our advisers are trained to help you on the following topics.
* Social care - such as finding a care home or getting some help at home, and how it's funded.
* Your income - including free benefits checks, help with applying for benefits and pension advice.
* Your home - information on staying warm at home, home adapatations and how to prevent falls.
* Legal issues - such as wills, Power of Attorney, and how to deal with an estate.

We can also make referrals to other agencies and organisations for specialist help.

At our office: Book an appointment if you would prefer to see someone face to face. Age UK Brighton & Hove is situated at 29 – 31 Prestonville Road, Brighton which is the road by the launderette just off Seven Dials. 

Opening times:
From week beginning Monday 30th July 2018, our information and advice officers are available at the following times:
Monday             - 10am until 4pm
Tuesday             - 10am until 4pm
Wednesday        - 10am until 1pm
Thursday           - 10am until 4pm
Friday                - 10am until 4pm
During busy periods, you can leave your details and an advisor will get back to you as soon as possible.
