Information NOW is an initiative of Newcastle's Quality of Life Partnership. The Partnership was established in 2005 to enable older people and agencies to work together to improve the quality of life of older people in Newcastle.

At the centre of the Partnership are the voices and experiences of older people. The Elders Council of Newcastle is the city's older people's forum and is leading on supporting older people across the city to raise issues, tell their stories and put forward ideas.
