What does it do?The service arranges a community care assessment. In the assessment, we will discuss the difficulties you are having and work together to assess your needs.

Who it is for:

For people wishing to stay more independent and safe in theirr home, but who may also wish to consider physical changes to their home to make it more suitable for their needs. These changes are called adaptations.

Where it is available:

Local service covering: Leeds (West Yorkshire).

What it costs:

Small adaptations, costing under £1,000, are free. There may be a contribution required for larger adaptations for people who are owner occupiers or who live in private rented property.

How to access or apply for it:

To get adaptations to your home, call us on 0113 222 4401 to arrange a community care assessment.
