care home scheme is managed by abbeyfield kent society ltd. connors house is a happy and relaxed home looking after elderly frail residents on our ash & cedar unit, which is for people who need minimal support whilst our holly & evergreen unit is for residents with dementia who need a higher level of care.
both units are encouraged to participate in activities, from armchair music & movement to carpet bowls, bingo, cards, jigsaws, and much more - we are client led in this area.
we have a very active day centre where up to 30 clients come from the community to spend the day with us. this may be the only time they are able to meet others and spend some time socialising, have a home made cooked meal and even a bath if they wish.
