EAC and the developers of HousingCare.org, Mission Systems, have worked with Housing 21 to improve the presentation of its sheltered housing courts on its own website.
Housing 21 staff are ensuring that EAC's National Database of Housing for Older People is fully up to date with details of the Association's properties. Meanwhile EAC and John Dillon of Mission have developed a bespoke version of HousingCare's Retirement Housing search facility for the purpose. This displays only Housing 21 schemes and allows searching by tenure, by county and/or council area, or for schemes with current vacancies.
Housing 21 has one of the largest portfolios of extra care sheltered housing, and a further enhancement is planned to feature these more strongly.
