The Code of Practice of the Centre for Housing & Support is an externally assessed "kite mark", similar to Investors in People or Charter Mark, specifically designed for housing related support services. The process of working towards the Code normally takes between 12 – 18 months, and enables those who provide these services to vulnerable clients to benchmark their service delivery against nationally agreed standards. Successful achievement of the Code of Practice demands close collaboration with staff and a thorough and rigorous review of internal policies and practices.
