Show more "Calgarth Park provides rented accommodation for people over 55 and is set in open countryside near Windermere in the heart of the English Lake District. It offers an independent lifestyle, beautiful surroundings and a friendly, supportive environment.

The accommodation comprises one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments, all of which have a fully-fitted kitchen and shower or bathroom. The communal rooms and many of the apartments have stunning Lakeland views.

Residents pay a one-off, non-refundable redecoration sum equal to one month's rent when the Occupancy Agreement is signed and then a monthly rental fee. The rent includes a home-cooked, three-course lunch, Monday to Friday, central heating, hot water and 24/7 emergency call service. This is a worry-free environment where the House Manager, staff and contractors sort out all the troublesome issues of property maintenance leaving the residents free to enjoy the Calgarth lifestyle in this wonderful location.
