It is an Independent Living development, for people aged 55 and over and is situated in a conservation area near to the centre of Whalley Range, Manchester. Tangmere Court consist of multiple apartments for rent over three floors (with lift access to all floors) and includes 21 large one-bedroom apartments and 17 two-bedroom apartments. All have a separate kitchen and bathroom and all have access to Astraline's 24 hour emergency call system.

Tangmere Court offers residents a large well maintained communal garden, a shared car park, communal laundry, IT facilities, a communal lounge and a dining area. In the summer, there are outside benches, tables and chairs where residents can socialise and enjoy the gardens. There are regular social activities for residents in the communal lounge. The grounds maintenance, development cleaning and window cleaning are carried out by our contractor. There is also a guest bedroom available for visiting friends and family that can be booked for a nominal charge.

Tangmere Court has an Independent Living Coordinator on duty Monday-Friday except for public holidays. Outside of these hours, Astraline's emergency call system and an out of hours repairs service are available. The building has a secure fob entry and exit system for resident's safety.

Nearby amenities include a medical centre, dentist's surgery and an opticians all within a short walking distance. There are good transport links to Chorlton and Manchester city centre within easy reach and can provide some of the best museums, shops and restaurants in the North West.
