Show more "Belong Chester opened in 2022 and offers world-leading dementia care in the heart of the city centre, as well as 23 independent living apartments and a wide range of amenities for the wider community.The village's six supported households, with modern en-suite bedrooms and open plan lounge and kitchen areas, represent a radically different alternative to conventional care homes. We operate with a higher-than-average staffing ratio and a maximum of 11 residents per household, offering a family atmosphere where customers can build lasting relationships with staff and other residents.
Our specially trained support and nursing staff are available around the clock to support individuals with dementia and those residents who require clinical care. Our village is a stunning example of how advanced design and very high standards of care can provide a new quality of life for older people.
Belong Chester offers 23 self-contained apartments for independent living in Sandstone Court. These are available to either purchase or rent, with a monthly community fee payable in both cases to cover many of the building maintenance, utilities and service costs. Please see the Key Facts document for details of the financial arrangements for renting or purchasing a Belong apartment.
For those who choose to purchase, we operate a "Buy Back" scheme which guarantees that we'll repurchase your apartment for the same price that you originally paid, subject to reasonable deductions for any repairs, arrears and legal costs. This is designed to provide total peace of mind for apartment owners, by avoiding price fluctuation on the open market.
Vibrant village centre
Apartment residents have access to a vibrant village centre on their doorstep, with facilities including a licensed bistro, hair salon, entertainment venue and specialist exercise studio.
