Show more "Our brand new purpose-built care home in North Bar Place in Banbury, Oxfordshire, will open inSeptember 2017. It will be close to the centre of town, only a few streets from the town’s shopping centres, restaurants and cafes. However, it has been carefully designed so that it is surrounded by large gardens and trees, and it will also overlook People’s Park. As well as being within walking distance of Banbury train station, the care home will be only a few minutes by car from junction 12 of the M40, making it handy for visitors coming from all over central and southern England to see loved ones.Each floor of the new three storey home will have its own dining room, as well as lounges and sitting areas. The first floor will also have large terraces so residents can even eat outside in warm weather. Adding these features to each floor helps to create a close-knit community atmosphere that enables residents who are living with dementia to feel more secure. Each of the 73 bedrooms will be slightly differently decorated, so there will be a room to suit every taste. Each will have its own en-suite wet room, flat-screen TV, adjustable profile bed and 24-hour nurse call system.
