The almshouses were established in 1897 by local resident William Welch Deloitte, renowned as the father of the accountancy profession, to mark Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.
The almshouse properties are let unfurnished with standard fixtures for white goods which the residents need to provide themselves.
There is no off-street parking at the scheme but the street is not in a Controlled Parking Zone and residents and their visitors are able to park on the street.
