MHA’s Home forms part of that effort and just 400 yards away, the Symes Avenue shopping centre is also being rebuilt.
The Home itself lays a good deal of emphasis on the range of activities it is able to arrange for its residents. “Whilst we always respect an individual’s privacy, Hartcliffe has its own Activities Co-ordinator who organises a complete selection of activities for residents to take part in if they wish.” Residents have gathered in the past, for example, to hold a charity quiz night to raise money for the BBC’s Children in Need appeal."
