Show more "Named after the town’s railway heritage, Station House has been specially designed to meet the needs of older people. Residents’ rooms are spacious and comfortable, and offer pleasant views of our grounds. Each room includes a vanity unit, stylish furniture, a 24-hour nurse call system and telephone and television connections. As part of our end of life care service, we have a double room with en-suite facilities which families can use. We have two lovely internal courtyard gardens and a large lawned garden too.We offer a choice of lounges and dining rooms throughout the home, as well as a hairdressing salon and our own library. Our team and residents' families also bring in books for our book-swap basket in reception. We’re very pet-friendly here and we’re open to residents bringing much-loved pets along with them.
As well as our courtyard areas, we have a very large garden with lawns, water features, a gazebo, a pergola, seating areas and a vegetable plot, which is used by our gardening club. The home and gardens are fully wheelchair accessible throughout." Show less
