It is a Grade 2 Listed building made of sandstone and was for many years the miller’s residence. The original mill, a short distance from the main house and situated on the River Ivel, was demolished some years ago.The main house was converted into a care home in the early 1980’s and further extensions added over time. There are now 29 bedrooms, some on the first floor of the old house, and the rest on the ground floor. Since 2010, the main building has undergone a programme of renovation and modernisation culminating in the opening of our new extension in September 2013 adding new bedrooms with en suite showers and under floor heating."
